Dear friends of cytometry,
what an overwhelming start of the DiGifZ2021! We thank all the speakers and chairs who made the first day of our conference memorable. More than 90 people in the virtual audience followed the inspiring and amazing talks during the webinars and sessions. Special thanks to Chris Xu, our keynote lecturer, who introduced the fundamental physics behind 3-multiphoton deep imaging and discussed its challenges. We got so inspired by the talks of our invited speakers – Na Ji, Simon Ameer-Beg and Chika Yokota – in the Imaging and Cutting-Edge sessions. And we enjoyed the speedy and entertaining Product Slam so much: Zellmechanik from Dresden won the hearts of the audience. Thanks to all the enthusiastic industrial presenters. We are looking forward to meet you all again tomorrow.
