We enjoyed 2020 and would like to welcome you back to the DiGifZ in 2021

Dear friends of cytometry,

thank you all for a inspiring week of cytometry in 2020, exciting talks and fruitful discussions. When we decided to translate our annual DGfZ meeting into a DiGifZ virtual meeting we didn´t expect such an overwhelming attendance.

We look forward to meeting you all back in 2021 on 27 September 2021 at the 31st Annual Conference of the DGFZ – maybe in person, but definitly on air.

Last year nearly 80 participants joined the webinars and sessions, daily. On Friday, 97 participants attended the Product Slam! In the morning, Andreas  Wicovsky started the Beckman Coulter Webinar. During the Cutting Edge SARS-CoV-2-Keynote Lecture, Andrea Cossarizza from Modena, Italy, gave us an insight into his COVID-19 patient studies during the hardest lockdown in Europe, discovering immune features of these patients by advanced cytometry. Also Berlin scientists are very active fighting against the pandemic. Leif Erik Sander, Helena Radbruch and Mir-Farzin Mashreghi introduced their COVID-19 studies to the audience. In the Miltenyi Webinar by Alexander Scheffold from Kiel, formerly from Berlin, presented his results on cross reactivity and avidity of SARS-CoV2 specific T cells.

So looking forward to see you again
